Announcing…a fresh look
I am a Wisconsin girl, and like us all, I have a story. Mine began with parents who met at UW-Madison in the 60s and moved to upstate New York where my Dad was a lead engineer at Eastman Kodak and my Mom was a researcher at the University of Rochester. Big shoes to fill so, yes, I was that kid who always paid attention to everything happening in my sphere. I was constantly creating something out of anything I could get my hands on, whether it was accessorizing my cardboard dollhouse with my Barbies, or dressing up toting several of Mom’s handbags, always ready for that very important client meeting.
Fast forward to today where I own a professional interior design firm. After many years in the large metropolis to the South, I’m now back in Wisconsin in a beautifully renovated space in Lake Geneva. Each and every day I am grateful to be living my life’s dream of helping clients achieve their vision for their ultimate homes utilizing my expertise as their catalyst. My design goes beyond selecting cabinets, faucets and paint colors. I artfully assemble all components that make a home truly yours-a space where memories are cherished, and new ones are made.
The most important people in my life, always cheering me on, are my sons Jack and Mason. Jack, my oldest, is the creative genius behind much of the feedback regarding the layout of my new website and when I asked him to create our logo, he hit the mark with his creativity beyond my expectations. Mason, social influencer and style guru extraordinaire, helps me with all things fashion and lifestyle. He always makes sure I look my absolute best. Both of them are my world.
With that I’m pleased to share the launch of our new website, Ann Kottler Home. I’m sharing my story from the young girl who grew up with brilliant parents to the time now where I’m thrilled to be living my passion as a professional interior designer.
